With a half hour frequency, except for early afternoon, the bus is so convenient for heavy bags for Red Jet or shopping, why take the car down to Cowes and hunt for a parking place? Unfortunately, Southern Vectis have problems with finding suitable buses and often use ‘Rent-a-Wrecks’ with steep steps. This makes boarding difficult for the less agile and causes delays to the published timetable.
