Buses

Wait for years, and then they all come at once (well every 30 minutes, 7 days a week)

Do we have more buses in Oxford Street than London Transport?

With a half hour frequency, except for early afternoon, the bus is so convenient for heavy bags for Red Jet or shopping, why take the car down to Cowes and hunt for a parking place? Unfortunately, Southern Vectis have problems with finding suitable buses and often use ‘Rent-a-Wrecks’ with steep steps. This makes boarding difficult for the less agile and causes delays to the published timetable.

Its fantastic, Northwood has never been better served by public transport than now. Well maybe since the charabanc wars of the early-mid 20th century.

The Cowes loop is great for those shopping trips and has the added advantage of taking old people off the streets ;)
