The Nem Russell Window.
Dedicated by Stanley Redfern Russell of the world-famous Redfern Cowes-based fashion house to the memory of his wife Nem (Emma) after her tragic death in October 1886. They had been married less than a year and she had just given birth to their first child which did not survive. The window was dedicated at the Easter Service of 1887. Stanley also presented the church with the organ chamber (see stone on outside bearing inscription ‘IM NEM 1886’ (in memoriam Nem 1886) and possibly the organ which is of similar date.
