Old Map of Northwood Parish

The Parish of Northwood extends over a large area from the outskirts of Cowes in the north to Newport in the south. Its eastern boundary is marked by the River Medina and its western edge extends to Thorness.
The sample image on the left shows a small section of the map surrounding the church. The full map can be downloaded as a PDF (359KB).
If anyone can help identify the approximate age of the map, we would be very interested to know when it was produced! We think it dates to around the mid-fifties.
