My name is Raymond John Mew. I am 45 years of age. My family history goes back many centuries on the Island so I can really call myself an Islander. I love the Island very much and I always make time to go for long walks on the many fine country and coastal walks with my dogs. I also love my garden and if I am not walking or working then you will more than likely find me in my very large garden.

I currently work for HMPS and I am also in the process of getting my own enterprise (Vectis Landscaping) up and running. I have decided to use the skills taught to me whilst I worked for English Heritage to good use. My interests include Audio & Vision, keeping fit, walking and over the last 3 or 4 years I have undertaken a complex computer course, which has heightened my interest in the world of the internet and graphic designing. I also love animals very much and my wish is to be able to contribute more than I do in helping the many endangered species that are fighting for survival on the planet.
