SERVICE OF THANKSGIVING

Dr Reader, 59, is leaving the Island in February to become the new Archdeacon of Portsdown, and will be responsible for supporting clergy and congregations in 41 parishes in the Portsmouth, Havant and Waterlooville areas.
He has been Archdeacon of the Isle of Wight since September 2003 and will be formally collated as Archdeacon of Portsdown during a service at Portsmouth Cathedral on 26th February at 6.00 pm.
