The Extra-Ordinary meeting of Northwood Parish Council to be held in the School Hall at Northwood Primary School, Wyatts Lane, Northwood, Isle of Wight on Tuesday, 7 June 2016 commencing at 6.30 pm, for the transaction of the business as set out in the agenda below.

 

Members of the public and press are welcome to attend.
Copies of the associated meeting papers are available upon prior request to the clerk or can be obtained after the meeting

 

AGENDA

 

To receive and approve any apologies for absence
2. Members’ Interests
To receive any declarations of Members’ interests and written requests for Dispensations on items forming the agenda
3. Town and Country Planning
In accordance with Standing Order 15 xv, to consider the following planning applications received and make comments in accordance with the guidance for material planning considerations listed at

i. TCP/11391/M Land adjacent 263 Newport Road, Cowes – Proposed building to form micro-brewery; alterations to vehicular access to include erection of gates; parking;
ii. TCP/32658 Land adjacent 119 Wyatts Lane, Northwood – Demolition of garage; proposed 2 detached dwellings; formation of vehicular access;

iii. TCP/06347/A 29 Coronation Avenue, Northwood – Single storey rear extension to provide additional living accommodation; alterations; proposed porch; single storey extension to garage.
4. To consider matters requiring a decision as a result of the resolution to trial holding bi-monthly meetings:
i. to agree the appointment of a contractor to renovate the Notice Board, adjacent to Northwood traffic lights (Paper A);
ii. to agree that in future the clerk & RFO can, subject to verification of the payments made in cash, obtain a full refund every month of any expenses incurred.  These must be supported by receipts/invoices for all items purchased.  The total of such payments to be reported to the next meeting of the Parish Council;
iii. to approve cheque No 000459, payable to Mrs B Herbert, covering the clerk & RFO’s expenses of £61.70 since the previous meeting of the Parish Council;
iv. to approve the amendment to the total fixed assets set out in Section 2 – Accounting Statements 2015/16 of the Annual Return for the year ended 31 March 2016 (Paper B).

 

PUBLIC SPEAKING
In accordance with Standing Order 27, any member of the public wishing to speak on an item on the agenda may speak at a Council meeting at the start of the agenda item for a period not exceeding 3 minutes.

 

When a ‘Group’ of members of the public wish to speak on an item, they will, subject to the Chairman’s discretion be required to nominate a representative who may speak for a maximum of 3 minutes.

 

It would assist the smooth running of the meeting if you would advise the clerk prior to the start of the meeting of your wish to speak.
