Coffee Morning and Sale

I.W. Food bank – the Food bank is as busy as ever feeding around 100 people each week across the Island.

In July Tesco nationally held a “Food bank weekend” and at the Ryde store we had 1.8 tonnes of food donated – a massive amount all going to local people. It took a week to put all the food away in the warehouse! However, due to the high demand the food is flying off the shelves.

The warehouse is situated next to Steve Porter’s on the Somerton industrial estate where we receive donations of non-perishable food, we also stock good second-hand clothes, shoes, accessories and soft furnishings at very reasonable prices.

On September 28th 10.00 – 1.00 we will be holding a Coffee Morning and Sale at the warehouse so do try to come along and also tell all your friends. If you would like to know more about Food bank or think you might like to volunteer please give me a ring –
