Folk Session

Can I just mention through the Forum that on the third Friday of each month, a Folk Session takes place at the Kingston Arms, open to anyone who is interested.
It is a fairly ‘slow’ session and very suitable for anyone just venturing into ‘playing out’. Bring along your fiddle, guitar, bodhran, concertina, melodeon, whistle etc., and have some fun!
Next Session is on Friday 19th February 2010 at 8.30pm.

Parish Council
Six turned up with a variety of instruments including fiddles, guitar, flute, bodhran, whistle and ‘voice’. Anyone interested…..next session is on the 19th March.
A guitarist !!!…..brilliant………….you will be most welcome.
Excellent. There used to be a similar event at the Portland Inn, Gurnard which was well attended.
