Northwood W.I. Report

Northwood WI members had a very enjoyable Christmas meeting on 4th December starting off with a Christmas Lunch cooked by a very depleted committee. We had Roast Turkey, Ham, Roast Potatoes, Sprouts, Carrots, Peas and stuffing with gravy followed by Christmas Pudding and Trifle with Cream. The drinks flowed very well.

After a very brief business meeting we were entertained by “Patty” who sang songs from the decades from the 40s to the 70s. It brought back some very happy memories for the majority of us. After the entertainment we had tea/coffee and Mince Pies.

Our thanks go to the committee for putting on such an enjoyable meeting. Thanks also go to Karen Fuller who also helped.
