Northwood W.I. Report

Unfortunately our Speaker for the afternoon couldn’t make it, so it was a social afternoon.
.
As it is the centenary of the formation of the W.I. this year in Britain a baton is being sent around the country to various W.I.’s and it is coming to Northwood W.I. on Wednesday 21st January 2015. We are teaming up with Medham W.I. to do a Buffet Lunch.

We have also planted in our garden a Centenary Rose.
.
Cups were presented to the Competition winners for 2014 who were Elisabeth Hamilton for Best Garden Bloom and Cookery and Fay Bunday for the various other competitions.

The winners of January’s competitions were Elisabeth Hamilton for Best Garden Bloom and Fay Bunday for the Favourite Animal Ornament.
