The President Elisabeth Hamilton welcomed members and visitor Hazel Pullen, a Waterside WI member, to the meeting.

Elisabeth then introduced our speaker, Roger Mazillius who gave a very interesting talk on Goss Crested China. William Henry Goss was born in 1883 in London and when he was 16 years old attended an Art School in Somerset House. His son Adolphus travelled the Country setting up agencies to sell Goss Crested China in holiday resorts as Souvenirs.

Competition results:

Your favourite Christmas Card – Edwina Abrook.

An update was given on members who are ill.

Correspondence was then read through and the financial statement was given.

Arrangments were made for our Birthday Lunch on 14th April.

Names were taken for our Lunch and Games on 10th March.

Helpers were asked for the Table Top sale on the 19th February.

The meeting closed at 4pm.
