Northwood W.I. Report

Anne Jonas, President welcomed members and two visitors to the meeting on 5th July 2012 – Trish Boyle and Jessica Bann – on a rare sunny day!

Arrangements were made for a Ramble and Pub lunch combined with our Art & Craft afternoon 19th July.
.
The Summer Fair is on the 28th July, which had to be changed from the 14th due to the Olympic Torch visiting the Island.
.
Although we do not have a meeting in August, practically all Thursdays are booked with various activities – an outing to Havenstreet Railway, Programme Meeting and an Art & Craft Day with lunch, Silk Scarf Painting with Brenda Yates. It seems we are always eating!!!
.
We are also having a table at the Northwood Village Produce Show.
.
For our next meeting in September we have Anne Evans giving a talk about Brading Roman Villa.

Winner of the Best Bloom was Elisabeth Hamilton and a pretty spoon by Josie White.
.
Birthday ladies this month are Joyce Mace and Sally Lloyd-Winter.
