TIBETAN PRAYER WHEELS

Pass the wall, friend, on the left,
touches clumsy, touches deft,
set the wheels a-spinning.

Turn the painted scriptures round,
Mani walls will not abound,
past thy trail’s beginning.

Witness ere ye tread the height,
touches heavy, touches light,
favour now are winning.

From Kairos – Selected Poems No 1, a book of Mr Hudson’s poetry.

Kairos means “opportune moment”.
