The Big Society

All this talk of the so-called new idea “The Big Society” when it’s been around for years. People have always given time to dozens of projects for nothing. But we need to be careful we really need more paid jobs and more people paying taxes to fund the pensions that we all hope to get if and when we retire. If you do proper jobs for nothing we will all lose in the end; I am sure B&Q would love a few bored oaps with time to spare filling their day in the warm with a cup of tea thrown in with a jam butty working for nothing, and some would do it.

No need to convince me of this nonsense.. No money=no jobs=no services=those most in need suffering most. Don’t blame me, I didn’t vote for either of the Cs (Cameron or Clegg, that is). Most of us are in for a nasty shock, except for the insulated few as always of course. And you thought Thatcher was bad..?
