Vandalism and verbal abuse in Northwood

Posted by Anonymous on Friday, 13th June 2008, 10:06

There are several teenagers in Northwood who seem to believe that they can do what they like and when they like.
The police in my opinion seem to be unable to do anything about these youths and the youngsters are well aware of the fact and flaunt it.
There is anti-social behaviour most evenings from 2 certain young ladies who walk around the village and also vandalism from other youngsters.
My husband and I have now taken it upon ourselves to report these individuals to the housing association whose properties these people live in.
Let’s see if they do something about it; maybe the threat of eviction might give them a wake-up call.
I won’t hold my breath.

What do the teenagers want or like to do. Tell them to let the new Parish Council know. They are the best ones to try and see if it is possible to achieve their suggestions

if people in northwood gave the teenagers somewhere or something to do and be treated with respect, then maybe they would repect the elders and i dont think threating people with eviction will help as most of the teens parents own there property,s and in my opinion if you dont like the familys round here why not MOVE somewhere else?
