Northwood Women’s Institute was formed in January 1926 and met in the Church Hut until, in April 1931, the present Hall was opened. It has seen many changes inside and out over the years, including additional parking spaces being created, and most recently a name change – NORTHWOOD W.I. HALL is now known as NORTHWOOD VILLAGE HALL.

Northwood W.I. meets on the first Thursday each month in Northwood Village Hall starting at 2pm. We have some very interesting speakers and demonstrations together with a competition.

Visitors and new members are always welcome.
|
We hold two “Lunch & Games” afternoons each year;
Art & Craft afternoons take place on the third Thursday of each month throughout the year;
Rambles take place, also on the third Thursday of each month, but just during the summer (weather permitting) – check with Denise Hunter, details below;
We have (W.I.) Birthday and Christmas lunches;
Three Table-top Sales are held each year.

All our events are advertised in the local Parish Magazine Northwood News and in the Village Diary and Village News on this website, as well as on the website’s Facebook page.
