Subject: I.W. Council Elections - June 2009 - a message from Councillor Roger Mazillius
Message: A good result Roger and I am sure we all feel it was because you do your best for Northwood.
I personally feel Parish Councils are best served by the local residents with no obvious party allegiance, but realise its not easy to get volunteers. My main concern now is our Parish Council has two "big players" you and Paul Fuller who is as we all know elected for Cowes/Gurnard ward.
I dont know of another Parish Council that has this sort of blend. Surely issues that affect both villages will be discussed and it will be difficult not to stand the ground for your separate electorates.
Interesting times.
