President Anne Jonas welcomed members and one visitor, Sylvia Baldock, to the meeting on a very sleety, snowy afternoon.

Jacquie Pearce is celebrating her birthday this month and was presented with a birthday card.

Our speaker was Jane Neill who gave a talk on Queen Victoria’s five daughters. The vote of thanks was given by Elisabeth Hamilton.

Names were taken for our 87th Birthday Lunch being held at The New Holmwood Hotel on the 15th April.

The competitions winners were:

Denise Williams (for Something Victoriana)

and

Joan Furnell (for Best Garden Bloom).
