Northwood W.I. Report

President Anne Jonas welcomed members to the meeting. We welcomed a new member, Trish Boyle.

The Coffee Morning held in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support wasn’t very well attended but we made £117 (rounded up to £120) for a very worthy cause.
Final arrangements were made for our very popular Lunch and Games on 11th October. Our speaker for the day was Ellen Robinson demonstrating fitness for the older generation.

Our Christmas Fair / Bazaar is being held on Saturday 24th November from 2.00pm in our hall.

Art & Craft days are still well attended. The Ramble with lunch at Quarr was atttended by 9 members but not much of a Ramble because of the weather!
The Lunch and Games which was held on the 11th October was very popular, catering for 42 members.

We were pleased to welcome friends from Cowes W.I., Creekside, Gurnard Bay, Headon Hill and Freshwater Central to the meal. Judging by the laughter and chattering all were having fun and the food went down a treat.
